En este artículo se analiza el cómo y el porqué, en las repúblicas andinas, la inclusión de los pueblos originarios a los destinos nacionales ha sido lenta, insegura e irregular y muchas veces marcada por una violencia extrema. En cuanto a la educación, el trabajo describe cómo las poblaciones indígenas han sido relegadas durante décadas, sufriendo recortes y atrasos continuos por parte del Estado y sus instituciones. Reconstruye la memoria de los pueblos indígenas originarios, en el espacio que abarca el sur de Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolívia y el norte chileno y argentino.
In this article, the how and why the inclusion of the native peoples to the national destinies has been slow, insecure and irregular, and, many times, marked by an extreme violence are analyzed. Regarding the education, the paper describes how the indigenous populations have been relegated for decades, undergoing continuous cutting downs and delays by the State and its institutions. The work rebuilds the memory of the native indigenous peoples including the south of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and the north of Chile and Argentina.
