El presente trabajo, basado en los estudios realizados a instancias de la Unesco en diferentes regiones del mundo, se propone ofrecer una clave para la identificación de los estereotipos sexistas en los libros escolares e infantiles que permita la toma de conciencia y la denuncia de su existencia. Esta investigación tiene por principales destinatarios a los responsables de la redacción, la ilustración y la edición de los manuales escolares y libros para la infancia, además de maestras y maestros, pues en sus manos está el poder de influir sobre las mentalidades y, por tanto, de favorecer su evolución en el sentido de la igualdad y el respeto para todos.
The present work, based on the studies carried out to instances of the Unesco in different regions of the world, intends to offer a key for the identification of the sexist stereotypes in the school and infantile books that it allows the taking of conscience and the accusation of its existence.
This investigation has for main addressees to those responsible for the writing, the illustration and the edition of the school manuals and books for the childhood, besides teachers and teachers, because in its hands it is the power of influencing about the mentalities and, therefore, of favoring its evolution in the sense of the equality and the respect for all.
