Semiotics and the Social Phenomenology are two of Historical Scientific Sources of the Communicology. From the optics of the Philosophy of Science and the Epistemology, this test must like primary target explore the relations between both sources for the construction of a General Science of Communication. The Social Phenomenology allows constructing knowledge about the world of the daily life, a world where the communication is materialized in interpersonal relations. On the other hand, Semiotics offers an approach to the communication from logic of extreme formal representation. Are compatible both glances on the phenomenon communication? To what extent these two ends can construct a discipline like Communicology? The theoretical sustenance comes from the proposal of the Grupo hacia una Comunicología Posible (GUCOM) that it has worked fundamentally from two fronts: the revision of the scientific sources that have contributed historically to the construction of communication thought; and the construction of a proposal of General Science of Communication, from a systemic point of view. This text retakes both fronts of work: on the one hand it recognizes the contributions of the Semiotics and Social Phenomenology to the communicational thought; and by the other, it raises the possibility of the dialogue between both sources for the construction of a Science of Communication. Given the exploratory nature of the work, it is not arrived at closed conclusions, but rather at the establishment of some elements that allow continuing the debate around the paper of the Semiotics and Social Phenomenology in the work of construction of the Communication like discipline.
