A finales del siglo XIX, se experimentaron cambios importantes en la educación primaria pública en México, como resultado del proyecto modernizador que el gobierno porfirista impulso entre los años de 1882 y 1911. Bajo este ambiente de cambios, los salones de clase fueron por primera atendidos en sus demandas de mobiliario, material escolar y espacios; por tanto el entorno y la dinámica al interior de los salones de clase se transformó, y con ello se marcó el inicio de un nuevo período en la escuela pública en especial la urbana.
La intención de éste artículo se centra en estudiar la memoria de estos salones de clase, en los cuales se experimentaron cambios profundos en el período de entre siglos y que marcaron la Cultura escolar del siglo XX.
At the end of the XIXth century, it experienced important changes in the public primary education in Mexico, as result of the project of modernization that porfirista impel the government between the year 1882 and 1911. Under this ambience of changes, the classroom were for first attended in his demands of furniture, school material and spaces; therefore the environment and the dynamics to the interior of these school spaces, it was transformed, and with it there was marked the beginning of a new period in the public school especially the urban one.
The intention of this one article it centres on studying the memory of these lounges of class, in which deep changes were experienced in the period of between centuries and which marked the school culture of the XXth century.
