La educación es en la actualidad uno de los ámbitos sociales que es más objeto de distintos debates, la mayoría de los cuales pretenden dar respuesta a lo que se considera casi unánimemente como una situación de crisis. En el artículo que a continuación presentamos queremos dar nuestra particular visión de esta crisis, partiendo para ello de la propuesta educativa Durkheimiana. Como la obra de Durkheim es en buena medida, como se sabe, un intento de construir un nuevo orden moral que resolviese la crisis del orden estamental y que legitimase al mismo tiempo la nueva sociedad industrial, y dado que su planteamiento ha coincidido esencialmente con... (Ver más) los principios que han articulado las sociedades modernas, dicha obra nos parece un buen punto de partida para analizar el sentido de esta crisis, directamente relacionada con el de estas sociedades. La primera parte del artículo estará, pues, dedicada a mostrar el punto de vista de Durkheim sobre la educación moral, en el contexto de sus particulares preocupaciones por edificar un orden moral en consonancia con las necesidades de la sociedad industrial. En la última parte, analizaremos las contradicciones que en la tardo-modernidad padecen los sistemas educativos, poniendo en relación este hecho tanto con las nuevas realidades sociales, como con la propuesta Durkheimiana, que, tal como decíamos anteriormente, coincide en su mayor parte con el ideario de las sociedades modernas.
The education is at present one of the social areas that is more an object of different debates, the majority of which try to give response to what it is considered to be almost unanimously a situation of crisis. In the article that later we sense beforehand we want to give our particular vision of this crisis, departing for it from the educational offer Durkheimiana. (Ver más) the principles that the modern societies have articulated, the above mentioned work looks like to us a good starting point to analyze the sense of this crisis, directly related to that of these societies. The first part of the article will be dedicated to showing, so, Durkheim's point of view on the moral education, in the context of his particular worries for building a moral order in agreement with the needs of the industrial society. In the last part, we will analyze the contradictions that slow modernity the educational systems suffer in it, putting in relation this fact so much with the new social realities, like with the offer Durkheimiana, which, as we were saying previously, it coincides with her most with the ideology of the modern societies.
