    El artículo trata sobre la ubicación de los tratados de derechos humanos como fuente del derecho constitucional chileno, analizando el tema de la jerarquía de los tratados de derechos humanos, la relación entre el derecho constitucional y el derecho internacional, como asimismo, las limitaciones que la reforma de 1989 al artículo 5º inciso segundo de la Constitución han implicado para los órganos del Estado chileno.

    This paper deals with the status of human rights treaties as sources of Chilean Constitutional Law, examining their hierarchical position, and the relationship between Constitutional Law and International Law, as well as the limitations imposed on the State of Chile by the 1989 amendment to article 5, subsection 2, of the Constitution.
