With the intensification of population aging, the health issues of the elderly are increasingly receiving social attention. Sports and health literacy, as one of the important factors affecting the health of the elderly, has become a hot research topic. This article is based on ordered logistic regression analysis to explore the effectiveness and influencing factors of sports and health literacy intervention for the elderly. Further analysis using an ordered logistic regression model revealed that intervention measures have varying degrees of impact on elderly individuals with different health conditions. This article provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for developing more targeted sports and health literacy interventions for elderly people with different health conditions. The research results indicate that sports and health literacy have a significant impact on the health status of the elderly. Under the control of other factors, for every unit of improvement in sports and health literacy, the probability of elderly people being in good health condition increases. In addition, age, gender, and lifestyle habits are also important factors that affect the physical and health literacy of the elderly. Among them, age has the most significant impact, and as age increases, the level of physical and health literacy of the elderly gradually decreases.
