Due to various reasons, many Tang Dynasty buildings have disappeared or suffered serious damage. In order to better protect and inherit these precious cultural heritage, digital restoration technology has emerged, and based on this, a conceptual framework for virtual Tang Dynasty architectural heritage has been constructed. This article proposes a conceptual framework for virtual Tang Dynasty architectural heritage based on digital restoration technology. This framework combines technologies such as 3D reconstruction, virtual reality, and digital restoration, aiming to achieve high-precision and high authenticity reconstruction and protection of Tang Dynasty architectural heritage. A node optimization deployment model for multimedia sensor networks was constructed, and the fusion tracking method of sensor nodes in the cluster was adopted for multimedia information fusion and two-dimensional entropy feature extraction. This article studies the application of multimedia feature extraction technology in the restoration of Tang architecture, in order to achieve a scientific and systematic teaching method and good teaching results. The experimental results show that the average accuracy of building restoration feature extraction technology under multimedia virtual technology is higher than that of traditional extraction techniques. Therefore, this article can achieve high-precision strategy methods for different experimental subjects.
