With the continuous development of social economy, China’s tourism economic situation has undergone great changes, and the characteristics of temporal and spatial differences are quite different from those in the past. Therefore, this paper takes the data from 2011 to 2019 as samples to study level of 31 provinces in China. First, it analyzes the general trend difference of tourism economic development through two indicators, namely, and then analyzes the regional differentiation in different regions of China through the gradient. Finally, starting from the economic basic conditions, resource endowment conditions, convenient traffic conditions and infrastructure conditions, this paper analyzes the different factors affecting the development path of tourism economy in different regions, aiming to discover new trends and impact mechanisms from the overall trend and impact mechanism of regional tourism economic development in recent years, so as to provide policies for sustainable development of tourism economy.
