This paper deals with the development of an ontological model for hydrocarbon distribution processes in Peru with the purpose of improving information management and facilitating the integration of the different actors involved in the distribution chain. The research is framed in the field of petroleum engineering, systems and computer engineering, and ontology, and follows the Methontology methodology to achieve a well-structured and easily accessible ontological model. The ontology will be implemented using the OWL and XML languages and tools such as Protege, SWRL and RDF will be used for its development. It is expected that this ontology model will enable semantic interoperability and improve efficiency in the hydrocarbon distribution sector in the local market.
El presente trabajo aborda el desarrollo de un modelo ontológico para los procesos de distribución de hidrocarburos en el Perú con el propósito de mejorar la gestión de la información y facilitar la integración de los diferentes actores involucrados en la cadena de distribución. La investigación se enmarca en el campo de la ingeniería petrolera, la ingeniería de sistemas e informática, y la ontología, y sigue la metodología Methontology para lograr un modelo ontológico bien estructurado y de fácil acceso. La ontología se implementará utilizando los lenguajes OWL y XML y para su desarrollo se utilizarán herramientas como Protégé, SWRL y RDF. Se espera que este modelo de ontología permita la interoperabilidad semántica y mejore la eficiencia en el sector de distribución de hidrocarburos en el mercado local.
