Our article aims to present a comparative study on the thoughts of two of the Hannah Arendt and Simone Weil, specifically, about the reflections of this revolutionary project by Marx. In order to achieve this goal, we will make a specific cut in one of the works of each of these philosophers. In Hannah Arendt we will follow the philosopher's thinking, specifically in her book On Revolution (1963) in the chapters The Social Question and The Revolutionary Tradition and Its Lost Treasure. In Simone Weil, we will devote ourselves to the text De Oppression et Liberté (1955) mainly in the chapter called Critique du marxisme. With this outline, we will demonstrate the differences made by each of these philosophers, highlighting the similarities and differences of such criticisms. Finally, we will briefly present the proposals of these great thinkers for a true ‘revolution’ in the human condition, proposals that, in a way, are within the scope of the philosophy of each one of them.
Nosso artigo visa apresentar um estudo comparativo entre os pensamentos de Hannah Arendt e Simone Weil a respeito de suas respectivas reflexões sobre o projeto revolucionário de Marx. Para que esse objetivo nos seja alcançável faremos um recorte pontual em uma das obras de cada uma dessas filósofas. Em Hannah Arendt acompanhamos o pensamento da filósofa em seu livro Sobre a Revolução (2011),[1] principalmente, no início do capítulo A questão Social (pp. 92-99) e no fim de A tradição revolucionária e seu tesouro perdido (pp. 374-390). Em Simone Weil nos dedicaremos ao texto Reflexões sobre as causas da liberdade e da opressão social (1996),[2] principalmente, no capítulo denominado Crítica ao Marxismo (pp. 235-251). Com esse recorte demonstraremos separadamente a crítica realizada por cada uma dessas filósofas, destacando as semelhanças e as diferenças de seus pensamentos. Enfim, apresentaremos brevemente as propostas dessas grandes pensadoras para uma verdadeira ‘revolução’ da condição humana, que, de certo modo, estão no âmbito da filosofia de cada uma delas.
