    La Geografía plantea que el anclaje territorial en la materialidad natural y construida y la temporalidad crean subjetividades, valores e identidades en torno a lugares que sus residentes están dispuestos a defender. En ellos se refuerzan los lazos de convivencia y se generan condiciones propicias para la participación comunitaria en relación con diversos problemas que los atraviesan. Abordamos aquí la construcción de circuitos ilegales de motocross en terrenos privados y públicos y el desarrollo de prácticas deportivas peligrosas y contaminantes en el Balneario “Dr. Delio Panizza”, Municipio de Rosario del Tala, Entre Ríos, Argentina; hecho que desató un conflicto territorial de proximidad por daños que han estado afectando a un patrimonio natural compartido socialmente. Planteamos un enfoque cualitativo, basado en análisis bibliográfico, cartográfico y de fuentes jurídicas; en trabajo de campo experiencial; en la realización de entrevistas a informantes clave y en el registro de fotografías. Nuestro objetivo se vincula con el análisis de las demandas, negociaciones y resultados que tuvieron lugar durante el conflicto (2020-2023), involucrando a actores diversos en torno a los usos del suelo, la preservación del patrimonio natural y de los espacios comunes de usos recreativos y el respeto por los derechos de los propietarios de casas y lotes en el Barrio; identificando los intereses en juego y el papel que desempeña el gobierno municipal en la gestión de tensiones o conflictos territoriales de proximidad.

    Geography suggests that territorial anchoring in natural/built materiality and temporality create subjectivities, values and identities around “places” that their residents are willing to defend. Bonds are reinforced and community participation arises in relation to several problems they have to face. The issue to be considered is related to the construction of illegal motocross circuits on private and public lands and the development of dangerous and polluting sports practices in the “Dr. Delio Panizza” municipal property, close to “Rincón Hondo Natural Protected Area/Sector”, in the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Rosario del Tala (Entre Ríos, Argentina). This matter has unleashed controversial situations as the damages of the natural heritage socially shared are minimized and/or preferred to be ignored. Our approach is qualitative based on bibliographic, cartographic and legal source analysis combined with fieldwork, interviews with key informants and photographic sources to evidence the emerging conflicts between the Municipality of Rosario del Tala and its neighbors regarding the uses and preservation of the mighty Gualeguay River and its beaches. Our objective is focused on the analysis of the demands and negotiations that took place during the conflict (2020-2023), involving different actors and land uses, the preservation of a natural heritage and common recreational spaces and the respect for the rights of the owners of houses in the Neighborhood; identifying the interests involved and the role played by the municipal government in managing tensions around these territorial conflicts.
