La propuesta jurídica y biojurídica del profesor italiano Francesco D’Agostino resulta importante de conocer. De una parte, logra hacer una síntesis entre elementos propios del derecho, su fundamento antropológico y su conexión con el derecho natural y la justicia. Esta unidad del saber jurídico es capaz de ser presentada con coherencia en el debate cultural actual. De otra parte, porque, ante los diferentes desafíos bioéticos, brinda respuestas jurídicas capaces no solamente de inspirar una salida que no se agote en el derecho positivo, sino que encuentra razones últimas para integrar una respuesta. D’Agostino buscó y logró una síntesis del saber jurídico que hoy nos honramos de presentar.
The juridical and biolegal proposal of the Italian professor Francesco D’Agostino is important to know. On the one hand, because he manages to make a synthesis between elements proper to law, its anthropological foundation and its connection with natural law and justice. This unity of legal knowledge is capable of being presented coherently to the current cultural debate. On the other hand, because, in the face of the various bioethical challenges, it provides legal answers capable not only of inspiring a solution that is exhausted in positive law, but also finds ultimate reasons to integrate knowledge. D’Agostino sought and achieved a synthesis of legal knowledge that we are honored to present today.
