Uno de los problemas para la teoría de las Ideas de Platón es la «separación». Y que esta tiene un significado único. Propongo que Platón vio la «separación» de manera no-unívoca creyendo que se presenta de dos maneras importantes. Una que llamaré «gradual» y otra más fuerte que llamaré «categórica», y que el Fedón muestra estas dos distintas maneras de separación cuando se habla del alma. Esto deja abierta la puerta a una interpretación moral de la separación, lo que contribuye a diluir el problema mente-cuerpo, pudiendo abonar a una interpretación no unívoca de la separación de las Formas.
One of the problems for Plato’s theory of Ideas is «separation». And that this has a unique meaning. I propose that Plato saw «separation» non-univocally, believing that it occurs in two important ways. One that I will call «gradual» and another stronger that I will call «categorical», and that the Phaedo shows these two different types of separation when talking about the soul. This leaves the door open to a moral interpretation of separation and contributes to diluting the mind-body problem. Also, it could support a non-univocal interpretation of the separation of the Forms.
