El presente artículo tiene por objeto profundizar en la relación entre la Inteligencia Artificial y la praxis musical. Partiendo del análisis de algunos ejemplos tomados directamente de esta tecnología se incide en la importancia de comprender que la música no cuenta exclusivamente con una dimensión sonora, sino también con una dimensión visual. Esta apreciación vendrá a salvar la tensión, hasta el momento infranqueable, entre la Inteligencia Artificial y la interpretación musical. De ello obtendremos algunas conclusiones importantes acerca de la naturaleza de la propia interpretación, así como posibles líneas de investigación que seguir en el futuro.
The aim of this article is to explore the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and musical praxis. Based on the analysis of some examples taken directly from this technology, it stresses the importance of understanding that music does not only have a sound dimension, but also a visual dimension. This appreciation will help to solve the hitherto impassable tension between Artificial Intelligence and musical interpretation. From this we will draw some important conclusions about the nature of interpretation itself, as well as possible lines of research to pursue in the future.
