Esta investigación tiene como objetivo examinar la variable de Habilidades de Pensamiento de Orden Superior mediante una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica de los últimos 5 años. Se ha seguido el método PRISMA para seleccionar artículos publicados en revistas tanto a nivel internacional como nacional. El resultado de este proceso fue la identificación de 49 artículos que abordan esta variable, publicados entre los años 2019 y 2023. Del total, el 20.4% está indexado en Scopus, el 12.2% en Web of Science y el 30.6% en SciELO. El 40% de estos artículos utiliza el término clave “Habilidades de Pensamiento de Orden Superior”. Notablemente, España encabeza la producción con un 27%, seguida por México y Colombia con un 14% cada uno. Este análisis subraya la importancia de investigar esta variable a nivel nacional, resaltando la necesidad de contar con instrumentos debidamente validados para evaluar estas habilidades en estudiantes de nivel superior.
This research aims to examine the Higher Order Thinking Skills variable through a systematic review of the scientific literature of the last 5 years. The PRISMA method has been followed to select articles published in journals both internationally and nationally. The result of this process was the identification of 49 articles that address this variable, published between 2019 and 2023. Of the total, 20.4% are indexed in Scopus, 12.2% in Web of Science and 30.6% in SciELO. 40% of these articles use the key term “Higher Order Thinking Skills.” It should be noted that Spain leads production with 27%, followed by Mexico and Colombia with 14% each. This analysis highlights the importance of investigating this variable at the national level, highlighting the need to have properly validated instruments to evaluate these skills in higher-level students.
