Estas notas presentan reflexiones surgidas a partir de nuestras investigaciones en torno a cómo y para qué se utilizan las plataformas de trabajo en la Argentina, a partir del análisis de tres actividades: reparto, servicios virtuales calificados y microtareas. Buscaremos responder dos preguntas: ¿se trata de trabajos autónomos o dependientes? ¿cómo articulan estos trabajadores los ingresos generados en las plataformas con otras fuentes de ingresos? Sostenemos aquí que estos trabajos desafían las formas tradicionales de abordar el mundo del trabajo, pues se trata de empleos híbridos, que muchas veces se enmarcan en situaciones laborales también híbridas.
These notes present reflections arising from our research on how and for what purpose work platforms are used in Argentina, based on the analysis of three activities: delivery, skilled virtual services and micro-tasks. We aim to answer two questions: are these jobs self-employed or dependent? How do these workers combine the income generated on the platforms with other sources of income? We argue here that these jobs challenge traditional ways of approaching the world of work, as they are hybrid jobs, which are often framed in hybrid work situations.
