Este año se celebra el 40° aniversario del Código Civil peruano, promulgado en 1984, el cual ha regulado las relaciones jurídicas en el país, promoviendo el respeto a los derechos fundamentales y contribuyendo a una sociedad más justa. A lo largo de estas cuatro décadas, el Código ha sido fundamental en la construcción de las instituciones del Derecho Civil, adaptándose a los cambios sociales y respondiendo a nuevas necesidades. En este contexto, la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Piura organizó el I Concurso de Ensayos Jurídicos con el objetivo de fomentar la investigación y reflexión sobre el impacto del Código Civil en la sociedad actual. Los ensayos abordan aspectos técnicos y normativos del Código, su relación con otras ramas del derecho y su adaptación a las realidades sociales y tecnológicas contemporáneas, incluyendo propuestas de reforma.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Peruvian Civil Code, enacted in 1984, which has regulated legal relations in the country, promoting respect for fundamental rights and contributing to a fairer society. Throughout these four decades, the Code has been fundamental in the construction of Civil Law institutions, adapting to social changes and responding to new needs.In this context, the Faculty of Law of the University of Piura organised the First Legal Essay Competition with the aim of encouraging research and reflection on the impact of the Civil Code on today's society. The essays address technical and normative aspects of the Code, its relationship with other branches of law and its adaptation to contemporary social and technological realities, including proposals for reform.
