Las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación facilitan las etapas de la gestión del conocimiento y el desarrollo de capacidades innovadoras útiles para anticipar tendencias y tomar decisiones informadas. Este trabajo emplea una metodología cuantitativa con enfoque descriptivo para desarrollar un análisis bibliométrico sobre el uso de las TIC en los procesos de gestión del conocimiento e innovación en las organizaciones. Los resultados permitieron determinar las dinámicas del conocimiento en el tema e identificar los autores, publicaciones, países e instituciones más relevantes. Se concluye que existe un interés creciente en el área durante las últimas dos décadas, con picos importantes en 2011 y 2016 que coinciden con la consolidación de la web2.0 y del concepto de industria4.0. Los expertos más reconocidos en el área trabajan en instituciones europeas, norteamericanas y asiáticas. En estas regiones también se ubican las instituciones que mayoritariamente financian las investigaciones en el tema.
Information and Communication Technologies facilitate the stages of knowledge management and the development of innovative capabilities useful for anticipating trends and making informed decisions. This paper uses a quantitative methodology with a descriptive approach to develop a bibliometric analysis on the use of ICT in knowledge management and innovation processes in organizations. The results allowed us to determine the dynamics of knowledge on the topic and identify the most relevant authors, publications, countries and institutions. It is concluded that there is a growing interest in the area during the last two decades, with important peaks in 2011 and 2016 that coincide with the consolidation of web2.0 and the concept of industry4.0. The most recognized experts in the area work in European, North American and Asian institutions. The institutions that mostly finance research on the subject are also located in these regions.
