El presente estudio se propone delimitar la solución de Leo Strauss frente al problema que la Modernidad representa para la Filosofía Política en su originario sentido griego. La solución articulada por Strauss puede sintetizarse en la esfera de significación del iusnaturalismo laico (IL). Por ello, dicho concepto será examinado según tres perspectivas. En primer lugar, se reconstruirá la noción de IL como ámbito de confluencia de las distintas posiciones adoptadas por Leo Strauss. En segundo lugar, se examinará la noción de IL como opción posible en una democracia liberal (DL) frente al relativismo moderno. Por último, se confrontará el IL con las posiciones de los grandes fundadores del proyecto filosófico-político de la Modernidad.
The present study proposed to delimit Leo Strauss' solution to the problem that modernity represents for Political Philosophy in the original greek sense. The solution articulated by Strauss can be synthesized in the sphere of significance of secular naturalism (IL). For example, this concept will be examined from three perspectives. First, reconstruct the harmfulness of IL as the impact of the confluence of the different positions adopted by Leo Strauss. In the second place, see the harmfulness of IL as a possible option in a liberal democracy (DL) in the face of modern relativism. Finally, confront IL with the great funds of the political-political project of Modernity.
