El artículo se propone observar cómo y cuándo distintos actores de la sociedad civil argelina se han emancipado de la tutela vertical impuesta por el discurso oficial del pouvoir sobre la cuestión palestina. Por un lado, se presentan y analizan las distintas posiciones históricas defendidas por el régimen argelino en torno a Palestina. Las percepciones compartidas entre el pouvoir y la sociedad civil argelina comienzan a distanciarse bajo la presidencia de Chadli Bendjedid (1979-1992). Alcanzan un punto de inflexión bajo el mandato de Abdelaziz Bouteflika (1999-2019), época en la que casi se establecen relaciones diplomáticas entre Argelia e Israel. Por otro lado, se establece un diálogo entre las acciones oficialistas y las expresiones de solidaridad organizadas por la sociedad civil argelina. La expresión de solidaridad con Palestina se convierte, en un contexto autoritario, en un nuevo espacio de contestación contra el régimen. Las formas de manifestación y los espacios ocupados son una respuesta a las medidas autoritarias impuestas por el poder.
The article aims to observe how and when different actors in Algerian civil society have emancipated themselves from the vertical tutelage imposed by the official discourse of the pouvoir on the Palestinian question. On the one hand, the different historical positions defended by the Algerian regime on Palestine are presented and analysed. The shared perceptions between the pouvoir and Algerian civil society begin to drift apart under the presidency of Chadli Bendjedid (1979-1992). They reach a turning point under Abdelaziz Bouteflika (1999-2019), a time when diplomatic relations between Algeria and Israel were almost established. On the other hand, a dialogue is established between official actions and expressions of solidarity organised by Algerian civil society. The expression of solidarity with Palestine became, in a context of authoritarian rule, a new space for protest the regime. The forms of demonstration and the spaces occupied respond to the authoritarian measures imposed by the regime.
