La principal contribución del trabajo es la recopilación de una serie de datos relacionados con las distintas prestaciones generadas por el desempleo. Con ello se consigue una radiografía de la actual situación donde destaca el elevado número de prestaciones, lo cual puede ayudar a dar pistas de las posibles mejoras de actuación.
A partir de los datos recopilados, se pretende, como objetivo principal, clarificar la actual situación de las prestaciones para evitar que se superpongan sus diferentes fines y conseguir de esta forma un sistema más transparente.
La principal conclusión es que debería simplificarse el actual abanico de prestaciones y relacionarlas con el ingreso mínimo vital (IMV), de tal forma que este último resuelva los problemas generados por los escasos ingresos familiares, mientras que las prestaciones por desempleo deberían intentar conseguir la protección de los ingresos mientras se facilita la vuelta al trabajo.
Por ese motivo, se ha creído interesante incluir los últimos datos del IMV, así como clarificar la relevancia que está adquiriendo el elevado crecimiento de los contratos fijos-discontinuos.
The main contribution of the work is the collection of a series of data related to the different benefits generated by unemployment. This provides an x-ray of the current situation of the high number of benefits, which can help provide clues to possible improvements in action.
Based on the data collected, the main objective is to clarify the current situation of benefits to avoid overlapping of their different purposes and thus achieve a more transparent system.
The main conclusion is that the current range of benefits should be simplified and related to the Minimum Living Income, so that the latter resolves the problems generated by low family income, while unemployment benefits should try to achieve income protection while facilitating the return to work.
For this reason, we have thought it interesting to include the latest data on the Minimum Living Income, as well as clarify the relevance that the high growth of fixed-discontinuous contracts is acquiring.
