This workshop was born from the union of the reflections that emerged from two working groups of the In Archivio 2023 conference: the one dedicated to the theme “Which digitization creates value for archives?” and the one concerning “Archives and schools: allies for an aware citizenship.” The two themes have been fully integrated into the projects activated by the PNRR, which open up challenges aimed at the future.
Digitalisation interventions, the creation of innovative tools to promote knowledge, and the removal of physical and cognitive barriers in themselves do not guarantee a substantial change if they are not included in inclusive and sustainable projects, capable of further development, oriented towards the good. These projects should not only aim to be part of society in the immediate implementation phase, but also, and above all, be durable and proactive towards the future.
Citizen participation, educational care, and increased cultural usability – at different levels – are ways to drive economic development for the subjects involved, both directly and through the activation of significant satellite activities
uesto workshop nasce dall'unione delle riflessioni emerse da due gruppi di lavoro della conferenza In Archivio 2023: quello dedicato al tema “Quale digitalizzazione crea valore per gli archivi?” e quello relativo a “Archivi e scuole: alleati per una cittadinanza consapevole”. I due temi sono stati pienamente integrati nei progetti attivati dal PNRR, che aprono sfide orientate al futuro.
Gli interventi di digitalizzazione, la creazione di strumenti innovativi per la promozione della conoscenza e la rimozione delle barriere fisiche e cognitive di per sé non garantiscono un cambiamento sostanziale, se non sono inseriti in progetti inclusivi e sostenibili, capaci di ulteriore sviluppo e orientati al bene. Questi progetti non devono solo essere parte della società nella fase immediata di attuazione, ma devono essere duraturi e soprattutto proattivi verso il futuro.
La partecipazione dei cittadini, la cura educativa e una maggiore fruibilità culturale – a diversi livelli – sono modalità di sviluppo economico per i soggetti coinvolti, sia direttamente che attraverso l'attivazione di significative attività satelliti.
