El Colegio Labor en Vigo, tiene una larga tradición desde sus comienzos como una Academia, hasta convertirse en el gran colegio que es actualmente. Analizamos la situación del centro desde 1932, año de su fundación como academia, hasta 1961, que es la fecha del relevo generacional y de la inauguración de la entrada de la Avenida Camelias, que marcaron un momento de inflexión en la historia del centro. Geográficamente la historia se desarrolla en la ciudad de Vigo, aunque se harán alusiones a la situación educativa en España y Galicia en aquel momento.
Colegio Labor in Vigo has a long tradition from its beginnings as an Academy to becoming the great school it is today. We analyze the situation of the center from 1932, the year it was founded as an academy, until 1961, which is the date of the generational change and the inauguration of the entrance on Camelias Avenue, which marked a turning point in the history of the center. Geographically, the story takes place in the city of Vigo, although allusions will be made to the educational situation in Spain and Galicia at that time
