As evoluções tecnológicas, especialmente a internet e as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs), estão causando mudanças profundas na sociedade, transformando a vida cotidiana, as interações sociais e o funcionamento das instituições. Em particular, no âmbito do judiciário, surge o movimento Open Justice (Justiça Aberta), que busca uma justiça genuinamente aberta, transparente e compreensível, adaptando-se às ferramentas tecnológicas disponíveis. No Brasil, o lançamento do Programa Justiça 4.0 em 2021 visa modernizar e tornar mais eficiente a prestação de serviços judiciais, utilizando ferramentas disruptivas e soluções de Inteligência Artificial (IA). Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar como o desenvolvimento do Open Justice e do Programa Justiça 4.0, apresentando diversos exemplos de inovações implementadas pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), como a Plataforma Digital do Poder Judiciário, Codex, Sinapses, entre outros. O fortalecimento e aprimoramento dessas ferramentas serão fundamentais para os próximos passos do sistema de justiça brasileiro.
Technological advancements, especially the internet and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), are causing profound changes in society, transforming everyday life, social interactions, and the functioning of institutions. Particularly in the judicial sphere, the Open Justice movement emerges, aiming for genuinely open, transparent, and understandable justice, adapting to available technological tools. In Brazil, the launch of the Justice 4.0 Program in 2021 aims to modernize and make judicial services more efficient, using disruptive tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. This study aims to investigate how the development of Open Justice and the Justice 4.0 Program, presenting several examples of innovations implemented by the National Council of Justice (CNJ), such as the Digital Platform of the Judiciary, Codex, Synapses, among others. Strengthening and improving these tools will be crucial for the next steps of the Brazilian justice system.
