La situación legal del cannabis ha generado en España un interesante debate. El consumo de cannabis por parte de adultos en el ámbito privado, ya sea por motivos lúdicos o por motivos terapéuticos, es cada vez más frecuente. Ello ha conllevado la identificación de una corriente social que aboga por romper las barreras de la prohibición del cannabis en favor del establecimiento de una regulación que otorgue seguridad jurídica. La consideración del cannabis como sustancia estupefaciente ha lastrado en gran medida esta apertura, hecho que se va modulando a través de las investigaciones que demuestran distintos usos terapéuticos. Con ello, el presente estudio trata de analizar estos aspectos, en especial lo relativo al consumo y la acción de los clubes de cannabis, al igual de cuál es el marco regulatorio del uso terapéutico del cannabis.
The legal situation of cannabis has generated an interesting debate in Spain. The consumption of cannabis by adults, in the private sphere, whether for recreational reasons or for therapeutic reasons, is increasingly common. This has led to the identification of a social current that advocates breaking down the barriers of cannabis prohibition in favor of the establishment of regulation that provides legal certainty. The consideration of cannabis as a narcotic substance has greatly hindered this opening, a fact that is being modulated through research that demonstrates different therapeutic uses. With this, the present study tries to analyze these aspects, especially those related to the consumption and action of cannabis clubs, as well as the regulatory framework for the therapeutic use of cannabis.
