El trabajo analiza de manera crítica las posibles implicaciones, efectos y retos que el proceso de descarbonización del sector marítimo representa para el trabajo y la empleabilidad desde una perspectiva jurídica laboral. Por una parte, se tiene en cuenta el contexto actual que exige la implementación de políticas, estrategias y acciones que contribuyan a la descarbonización, tanto a nivel mundial como en el ámbito europeo y español, así como de cara a las particularidades de cada sector de la economía; y de otra parte, se identifican los aspectos claves que se deben tomar en consideración en el sector marítimo para garantizar una transición justa, equitativa y tuitiva para sus colectivos de trabajadores, teniendo en cuenta que dicho sector constituye uno de los mayores contaminantes a escala global, dado su impacto en la economía, las características tecnológicas de la industria y su marcado carácter internacional
The paper critically analyzes the possible implications, effects and challenges that the decarbonization process of the maritime sector represents for work and employability from a labor legal perspective. On the one hand, it takes into account the current context that requires the implementation of policies, strategies and actions that contribute to decarbonisation, both globally and at the European and Spanish level, as well as in view of the particularities of each sector of the economy; and on the other hand, the key aspects that must be taken into consideration in the maritime sector are identified to guarantee a fair, equitable and protective transition for its groups of workers, taking into account that this sector is one of the greatest polluters on a global scale, given its impact on the economy, the technological characteristics of the industry and its marked international character
