Venezuelan migration demonstrates that the complexity of the current migratory phenomenon in Latin America corresponds to neighborhood migration, where immigrants resort to requests for refuge in order to enter and remain in border territory. With regard to the Venezuela-Brazil migration process, Brazil has been dealing with the implications of the large influx of Venezuelans into the country, which requires legal analysis of the situation. In this sense, we sought to take a systematic approach to Venezuelan migration to Brazil, looking at how the state of Amazonas acted between 2017 and 2019, the peak of Venezuelan migration in the region. Thus, we analyzed the actions of the state with regard to treatment and, consequently, the realization of the right to be treated equally by this migrant population.
A migração venezuelana demonstra que, a complexidade do fenômeno migratório atual na América Latina, corresponde à migração de vizinhança, onde os imigrantes recorrem às solicitações de refúgio para entrada e permanência no território fronteiriço. Naquilo que diz respeito ao processo migratório Venezuela-Brasil, o território brasileiro tem lidado com as implicações com o grande fluxo de venezuelanos no território nacional, o que requer que sejam feitas análises jurídicas sobre a situação. Nesse sentido, buscou-se realizar uma abordagem sistemática sobre a migração venezuelana para o Brasil, trazendo uma leitura sobre como atuou o Estado do Amazonas entre os anos de 2017 a 2019, auge da migração venezuelana região. Assim, analisou-se a atuação do ente estatal no que diz respeito ao tratamento e, consequentemente na efetivação do direito de ser tratado de modo igualitário a essa população migrante.
