The article presents the first part of the overview on the debate held in 2014 in 23 out of 27 journals affiliated with the "International Association of Labour Law Journals" (Iallj). In their analysis, the authors decided to pay particular attention to some of the issues that have played a key role in this debate: firstly, to the changing labour market and protection perspectives for the most vulnerable people which constitute a core issue in times of financial and economic crisis, and, secondly, to the question of migrant workers between labour law and social security law.
