  • The essay focuses on CIL, V 5262 = ILS, 2927 [ll. 9-15], with the aim of ana-lysing the legal institutions that Pliny the Younger would have resorted to in order to im-plement the liberalities, referred by the titulus, that he addressed for the benefit of the res publica Comensium.
