La investigación tuvo como objetivo reconocer cómo inciden los talleres prácticos de oratoria en la comprensión lectora y en la habilidad oral de los estudiantes de la Básica Superior y Bachillerato en una zona rural de Manabí, en contexto socioeducativos post pandemia. la investigación realizada fue cuantitativa y descriptiva, con relación directa con el objeto de estudio. Se incluyeron a los estudiantes de la Básica Superior y Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Dr. Manuel Benjamín Carrión; para ello, las encuestas y entrevistas dirigidas fueron los medios e instrumentos para la recolección de datos.
The objective of the research was to recognize how practical public speaking workshops affect reading comprehension and the oral ability of Upper Basic and Baccalaureate students in a rural area of Manabí, in a post-pandemic socio-educational context. The research carried out was quantitative and descriptive, directly related to the object of study. The students of the Basic Superior and Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit Dr. Manuel Benjamín Carrión were included; for this, the surveys and directed interviews were the means and instruments for data collection. We worked with a sample of students, who responded to a questionnaire made up of closed questions, specifically related to the variable of public speaking workshops, reading comprehension and orality.
