La educación infantil es una de las etapas que asegura la formación de futuros ciudadanos en bien de la sociedad. Por ello, el presente estudio describe y analiza a partir de los relatos las implicaciones de las madres sobre la educación a distancia de sus hijos durante la pandemia. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo descriptivo con la participación de 11 familias, los datos fueron recogidos mediante una entrevista. De las 4 subcategorías, el involucramiento de las madres en cuanto al tiempo y espacio, uso de los recursos digitales y conectividad a internet fue complicado. En conclusión, durante la educación a distancia de los niños en tiempos de pandemia de COVID-19, las madres mostraron mayor compromiso y acompañamiento en las actividades de aprendizaje, pese a las dificultades en el manejo de los recursos virtuales, conectividad inadecuada a internet y escaso tiempo por sus labores cotidianas dentro y fuera del hogar.
Early childhood education is one of the stages that ensures the formation of future citizens for the good of society. For this reason, the present study describes and analyzes, based on the reports, the implications of mothers on the distance education of their children during the pandemic. A descriptive qualitative study was carried out with the participation of 11 families, the data was collected through an interview. Of the 4 subcategories, the involvement of mothers in terms of time and space, use of digital resources and internet connectivity was difficult. In conclusion, during the distance education of children in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, mothers showed greater commitment and accompaniment in learning activities, despite the difficulties in managing virtual resources, inadequate internet connectivity and little time for their daily tasks inside and outside the home.
