En el modelo civilizatorio occidental dominante, “desarrollo”, “lenguaje” y “pensamiento crítico” constituyen la trama de sentido común de un metabolismo energético lineal, vertiginoso, de un extractivismo creciente y acumulativo, antrópico, que opera bajo una lógica absoluta y autoperformativa, en el régimen biopolítico de una crisis agónicamente infinita. Frente a ello, Carlos Walter Porto- Gonçalves, partiendo de la Geografía y de la mano de las luchas sociales y comunitarias, se ha desplazado a los otros territorios habitados en la convivencia humana-no-humana. En la fuerza de ese impulso, deslizo el sentipensar de lo territorial a lo inter-territorial.
In the dominant Western civilizational model, “development”, “language” and “critical thinking” constitute the commonsense plot of a linear, dizzying, and anthropic energy metabolism; in a growing and cumulative extractivism; working by inertia of an absolute and self-performative logic; under the biopolitical regime of an infinite agonizing “crisis”. Faced with this, Carlos Walter Porto-Gonçalves, starting from Geography and hand in hand with social movements and community struggles, defending their way of life, has moved to their other territories inhabited in human-non-human coexistence. In the push of that impulse, here I slip from territorial to inter-territorial senses.
