En este ensayo las geo-grafías de Carlos Walter Porto-Gonçalves son pensadas como puentes de conexión a los saberes ancestrales de grupos/pueblos/clases sociales/etnias/nacionalidades. Siete son los recorridos analíticos realizados por estas geo-grafías: el pensar como sentipensar el territorio; la vida como criterio de verdad; la diversidad de fuerzas en la grafía de la tierra; la incompletud de los seres y la producción del buen-con-vivir; la diversidad epistemológica del mundo y el encuentro con el conflicto social; la geograficidad de la historia y la descolonización del conocimiento; y la generosidad y el optimismo como actitudes epistémicas. ¡Por estos puentes, Carlos Walter se ha convertido en territorio ancestral!
In this essay, Carlos Walter Porto-Gonçalves’s geographies will be explored as bridges connecting ancestral knowledge across groups, peoples, social classes, ethnicities, and nationalities. Seven paths will be traversed through these geographies, including: thinking as feeling and thinking the territory; life as a criterion of truth; the diversity of forces in shaping the earth; the incompleteness of beings and the pursuit of good living; the epistemological diversity of the world and engagement with social conflict; the geographicity of history and the decolonization of knowledge; and generosity and optimism as epistemic attitudes. Through these bridges, Carlos Walter’s work becomes ancestral territory.
