Resumen de Emprendimiento Social y Migración Venezolana en Norte de Santander

  Un emprendimiento es el esfuerzo y decisión que toma un individuo o grupo de personas para impulsar un proyecto y poner en práctica una idea de negocio. El emprendimiento social, por su parte, tiene las mismas características, pero la solución es orientada a una problemática social. Con la llegada masiva de migrantes venezolanos, se generaron diversos problemas, no obstante, muchos generaron sus propios emprendimientos dando solución a diversos problemas, especialmente de empleo para ellos y sus familiares. El objetivo de esta investigación, es caracterizar el ecosistema de emprendimiento social de Norte de Santander y determinar el aporte que han realizado los migrantes venezolanos. Los resultados tempranos señalan existen mayores problemas para el migrante emprendedor que para sus pares colombianos, tales como la falta de socios inversores, limitado acceso al crédito, desconocimiento legal y tributario, y la fuerte competencia, lo significa que emprender, es una hazaña de enormes proporciones.

  A entrepreneurial venture is the effort and decision made by an individual or group of people to promote a project and implement a business idea. Social entrepreneurship, on the other hand, has the same characteristics, but the solution is oriented to a social problem. With the massive arrival of Venezuelan migrants, several problems were generated, however, many generated their own ventures providing solutions to various problems, especially employment for themselves and their families. The objective of this research is to characterize the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Norte de Santander and determine the contribution made by Venezuelan migrants. Early results indicate that there are greater problems for migrant entrepreneurs than for their Colombian counterparts, such as the lack of investment partners, limited access to credit, lack of legal and tax knowledge, and strong competition, which means that entrepreneurship is a daunting feat.
