La idea central en este texto consiste en identificar la importancia del concepto hogar en la vida de los seres humanos, para ello se plantean dos referentes: el oikos como lugar y el oikos como nicho afectivo para mostrar las transformaciones que ha tenido este concepto con la presencia de lo virtual como uno de los aspectos más determinantes hoy a la hora de interpretar unas nuevas condiciones de habitar el mundo en la virtualidad como una estética de la existencia. El enfoque metodológico es cualitativo ya que el objeto de estudio es un aspecto del ser humano que no es tangible ni medible, sino reflexivo e interpretable. La presente investigación se desarrolló a partir del método hermenéutico, basado en la comprensión e interpretación de textos que exige aplicar el texto a nuestro contexto. De ahí que el acto interpretativo incluye un ponernos a nosotros mismos frente al texto, exponernos a él, para que nos hable, nos diga algo (para nuestra vida). Por eso Gadamer hablaba de una “aplicación” y Ricoeur de una “aproximación”, tan necesaria como el distanciamiento, con respecto al texto.
The central idea in this text consists of identifying the importance of the home concept in the life of human beings, proposing two references: the oikos as a place and the oikos as an affective niche, showing the transformations that this concept has had with the presence of the virtuality, as one of the most determining aspects today, when interpreting new conditions of inhabiting the world today in virtuality, as an aesthetic of existence. The methodological approach is qualitative since the object of study is an aspect of the human being that is neither tangible nor measurable, but rather reflective and interpretable. The present investigation was developed from the hermeneutical method, based on the understanding and interpretation of texts, where it is very important to “apply the text to our context. Hence, the interpretive act includes putting ourselves in front of the text, exposing ourselves to it, so that it speaks to us, tells us something (for our lives). That is why Gadamer spoke of an “application”, and Ricoeur of an “approximation”, as necessary as distancing, with respect to the text.
