In recent years, cyber threats have increased to critical infrastructure, such as hospital organizations, whose technology is connected to the Internet of Things (IoT), which makes them prone to security threats that can affect security policies. health, public health, health services, surgical procedures, electronic records, among others. This research addresses theoretical issues understood by the conceptualization, its foundations and some references of cybersecurity; Later, findings are presented on the current situation of the hospital infrastructure in Mexico, the equipment that connects to the internet, the norms and standards under which the protection and safety of hospital care are governed and monitored; and finally, the SWOT analysis methodology is applied, from which basic strategies are established to minimize the risks of hospital computers and reinforce the security of the hospital network.
