La actividad agrícola y laboral en general de la parroquia Chobo, para muchas familias de escasos recursos representa su única fuente de subsistencia, misma que se ha visto fuertemente afectada con la llegada del covid-19, por este motivo se busca analizar cómo fue afectado dicho sector laboral. En este trabajo de investigación se aplicó la técnica estadística multivariante de Análisis por Componente Principales, a un conjunto de variables correspondientes a dos encuestas ubicadas en dos espacios de tiempo diferente sobre una parte de la población trabajadora, donde se resalta que las personas no cuentan con las facilidades para poder desarrollar su actividad, lo mismo que se ve más evidenciado por las opiniones de los habitantes, la baja profesionalización del campo, y la dificultad para poder establecerse en un puesto que les otorgue buenas prestaciones, dado que muchos cumplen con sus funciones bajo jornadas muy variables.
In General, the agricultural and labor activity of the Chobo parish, for many scarce resources families represents their only source of subsistence, which has been strongly affected with the arrival of covid-19, for this reason it seeks to analyze how this labor sector was affected. In this research, the multivariate statistical technique of principal component analysis was applied to a set of variables corresponding to two surveys located in two different time spaces on a part of the working population, where it is highlighted that people do not have the facilities to be able to develop their activity, the same thing that is more evidenced by the opinions of the inhabitants, the low professionalization of the field, and the difficulty of being able to establish themselves in a position that gives them good benefits, given that many fulfill their functions under very variable working days.
