En el presente artículo se tratan de exponer las principales características y los objetivos de la Orden Europea de Detención y Entrega, poniendo de relieve los cambios y avances que supone respecto a los procedimientos de extradición existentes entre los Estados Miembros, al fortalecer la cooperación judicial entre los países de la Unión Europea.
This article attempts to present the main characteristics and objectives of the European Arrest and Surrender Order, highlighting the changes and advances it represents with respect to the existing extradition procedures between Member States, by strengthening judicial cooperation between the countries of the European Union.
