En este estudio se propone un relevamiento de los temas que fueron agenda de la bibliotecología argentina durante las décadas de la profesionalización (1940-1950). Se tomó como documento de análisis la Bibliografía bibliotecológica argentina, de Nicolás Matijevic (1969), que recopila información publicada entre el siglo XIX y 1967. En primer lugar, se comparó la producción bibliográfica del período de profesionalización con la etapa anterior y la inmediatamente posterior. En segundo lugar, se revisaron y ponderaron los principales temas trabajados por los bibliotecarios. Finalmente, se describen las características elementales de la literatura bibliotecológica durante los años de la profesionalización. Entre otras conclusiones, se destaca la aparición de nuevas temáticas entre las preocupaciones principales de los bibliotecarios, como su propia formación y la bibliotecología y la documentación como disciplinas.
The study proposes a cartography of the topics of interest of argentine librarianship during the decades of professionalisation (1940s / 1950s). The Bibliografía bibliotecológica bibliotecológica argentina, by Nicolás Matijevic (1969), which compiles information published between the 19th century and 1967, is taken as a document for analysis. Firstly, the bibliographic production of the period of professionalisation is compared with the period before and immediately after. Secondly, the main topics worked on by librarians are reviewed and weighted. Finally, the basic characteristics of librarianship literature during the years of professionalisation are described. Among other conclusions, the emergence of new themes among the main concerns of librarians, such as their own training and librarianship and documentation as disciplines, is highlighted.
