    The text provides a critical study of the book Theory and Practice in Epicurean Political Philosophy. Security: Justice and Tranquility (Javier Aoiz and Marcelo Boeri, 2023), emphasizing some lines of contact between Plato and Epicureanism that are proposed therein, especially regarding the problem of whether an Epicurean sage would break the laws if he knew he would not be discovered.
