    Este artículo comenta la nueva Guía de la OEA sobre al Derecho Aplicable al Arbitraje Internacional de Inversiones, una herramienta fundamental que aborda desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria la complejidad de la problemática. La Guía nace a partir de la inaplazable urgencia de clarificar esta área de práctica. Además de explorar la importancia del tema, la Guía repasa sus orígenes, fuentes, estructura y panorama actual, con miras a una mejor comprensión y la aplicación coherente del derecho sustantivo aplicable en el ámbito de los arbitrajes internacionales de inversión.

    This article provides insights into the new OAS Guide on the Law Applicable to International Investment Arbitration, a crucial instrument that grapples with the intricacy of the issue from a cross-disciplinary perspective. The Guide is a product of the urgent necessity to bring clarity to this field of practice.
