The LOD (Linked Open Data) project of CoBiS, Coordinamento biblioteche speciali e specialistiche dell’area metropolitana torinese, includes 13 libraries that, thanks to funding from the Piedmont Region, share their catalogue data on a single catalogue using Linked Open Data technology. In the last few years, particular attention has been dedicated to potential users, their needs, the promotion of the project and information literacy activities in schools, thanks to the joint work with BIBLAB - Laboratory of Social Librarianship and Applied Library Research. The contribution describes the birth and development of this project but above all the work made in collaboration with BIBLAB.
