A finales del siglo XIX, poco después de la unificación de Italia, se desarrolló una intensa actividad en los territorios del antiguo Reino de Nápoles para estudiar el fenómeno de las asociaciones profesionales surgidas desde el siglo XIV. Paralelamente a los estudios, surgieron censos y colecciones de las antiguas capitolationes y statuta de los colegios profesionales. Entre estas colecciones se encuentra la del abogado napolitano Francesco Migliaccio. Creada a lo largo de 15 años a partir de 1871, hoy es propiedad de la Universidad de Bari y contiene cientos de documentos. La mayoría de ellos son estatutos, pero hay muchos otros documentos en su interior que constituyen una herramienta fundamental para estudiar el fenómeno de las asociaciones profesionales en el Reino de Nápoles entre la Edad Media y la Edad Moderna.
At the end of the 19th century, shortly after the unification of Italy, an intense activity was developed in the territories of the former Kingdom of Naples to study the phenomenon of professional associations that had emerged since the 14th century. Alongside the studies, censuses and collections of the ancient capitolationes and statuta of professional associations emerged. Among these collections is that of the Neapolitan lawyer Francesco Migliaccio. Created over 15 years starting in 1871, it is now owned by the University of Bari and contains hundreds of documents. Most of them are statutes, but there are many other documents within it that constitute a fundamental tool for studying the phenomenon of professional associations in the Kingdom of Naples between the Middle Ages and the Modern Age
