    El objetivo general fue determinar el nivel de cambio aceptable de actividades turísticas para el aprovechamiento sustentable dentro del Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello (PNLM). El método implementado fue Límites de Cambio Aceptable (LCA) con análisis multicriterio, entrevistas a informantes clave y talleres grupales con habitantes locales. Entre los resultados se destaca la preferencia por el turismo como fuente de empleos y desarrollo local, así como aceptabilidad al cambio en los espacios naturales con uso turístico. Las instituciones públicas podrán diseñar mejores políticas y estrategias vinculadas al aprovechamiento sustentable.

    The general objective was to determine the level of acceptable change in tourism activities for sustainable use within the Lagunas de Montebello National Park. (PNLM). The method was Limits of Acceptable Change (LCA) with multi-criteria analysis, key informant interviews and group workshops with local inhabitants. The results included a preference for tourism as a source of employment and local development, as well as acceptability to change in natural areas with tourist use. Public institutions will be able to design better policies and strategies linked to sustainable use.
