Sobre la base del análisis y sistematización de 67 tesis recolectadas, se propone dar cuenta de lo avanzado en los temas relacionados a la gestión pública en la academia nacional a nivel de gestión de gobierno subnacional. En específico, se presenta información sobre las municipalidades de Arequipa. Para ello, se hace preámbulo sobre la evolución de la gestión pública en la academia en el periodo 2001-2022, y posteriormente se describen, analizan y discuten los principales temas y líneas de investigación que se desprenden de estas tesis en el contexto de la “tercera ola de reformas estructurales”, que ponen el acento en la reforma del servicio civil en la región y la mejora de los servicios que las municipalidades brindan a sus ciudadanos.
Based on the analysis and systematization of 67 collected theses, the aim is to report on the progress made in topics related to public management in the national academy at the subnational government management level. Specifically, information is presented on the municipalities of Arequipa. To this end, a preamble is made on the evolution of public management in the academy in the period 2001-2022, and then the main topics and lines of research that emerge from these theses are described, analyzed and discussed in the context of the “third wave of structural reforms”, which emphasize the reform of the civil service in the region and the improvement of the services that municipalities provide to their citizens.
