El presente artículo nos dará a conocer la existencia de la mediación como elección a la vía judicial a la hora de solventar cualquier disputa con el fin de obtener otro punto de vista diferente a la par que nos lleva a no saturar la vía judicial. La mediación como mecanismo alternativo de resolución de conflictos sigue siendo esa gran ausente y desconocida para muchos. Neutralidad, voluntariedad, imparcialidad, flexibilidad, confidencialidad y rapidez son algunas de las características asociadas a la misma y que nos hace entrever como se adapta al contexto de la situación. Tener claro que ante la existencia de cualquier conflicto surge una solución, es sinónimo de oportunidad. En base a ello, la mediación se posiciona como vía de solución al mismo mediante el diálogo y acuerdo entre las partes implicadas en el proceso.
A todo ello, conviene mencionar la existencia de tres modelos de mediación. Tales modelos de mediación son los siguientes: Modelo tradicional lineal (Harvard), Modelo transformativo de Bush y Folger y Modelo Circular-Narrativo de Sara Cobb.

To be clear that in the existence of any conflict a solution arises, is synonymous of opportunity. Based on this, mediation is positioned as a way of solution through dialogue and agreement between the parties involved in the process.
In addition, it is worth mentioning the existence of three mediation models. These mediation models are the following: Traditional linear model (Harvard), Bush and Folger’s transformative model and Sara Cobb’s Circular-Narrative model.
