    En el asunto Lin (C-107/23 PPU), resuelto por Sentencia de 24 de julio de 2023 , el TJUE (Gran Sala) tuvo que abordar el alcance del principio de legalidad plasmado en el artículo 49 CDFUE, su superación por estándares más protectores de dicho principio procedentes de un sistema constitucional nacional, y, finalmente, la entrada en juego del contra-límite a tales estándares nacionales, con base en la regla de la no afectación a la primacía, la unidad y la efectividad del Derecho de la Unión.

    In the Lin case (C-107/23 PPU), resolved by Judgment of 24 July 2023, the CJEU (Grand Chamber) had to address the scope of the principle of legality set out in Article 49 TFEU, its overcoming by more protective standards of that principle set from a national constitutional system, and, finally, the entry into play of the counter-limit to such national standards, based on the rule of non-affectation of the primacy, unity and effectiveness of the Law of the Union.
