La Unión Europea está a punto de aprobar el Reglamento de Inteligencia Artificial, una norma llamada a establecer un nuevo estándar universal en cuanto a las garantías que deben establecerse para el desarrollo de una tecnología inteligente segura para los bienes y derechos de las personas y garante de un desarrollo económico sostenible. En este artículo presentamos los rasgos más relevantes de esta norma, advirtiendo de que se trata de un texto notablemente amplio y complejo, cuyo estudio en detalle resultará imprescindible.
The European Union is about to approve the Artificial Intelligence Act, a regulation that will set a new universal standard in terms of the guarantees that must be established for the development of an intelligent technology that is safe for people’s goods and rights and guarantees sustainable economic development. In this paper we introduce the most relevant features of this Act, warning that it is a remarkably broad and complex text, the detailed study of which is essential.
