Este trabajo demuestra la existencia de una teoría pedagógica en el pensamiento de Lezama Lima, derivada de su extenso y profundo conocimiento de la cultura universal que, sin embargo, no explicita en sus ensayos. Del estudio comparatista entre La cantidad hechizada, como texto representativo de su obra ensayística, y la referencia de sus dos novelas, Paradiso y Oppiano Licario, se infiere una reflexión psicagógica y didáctica que se concreta tanto en sus personajes, como en aportaciones de carácter autobiográfico. Conclusivo y probatorio de ello, es su materialización en la prolongada actividad formativa que el propio Lezama desarrolló en su ‘Curso Délfico’, durante doce años.
The work demonstrates the existence of a pedagogic theory in Lezama Lima's thought, derived from his extensive and deep knowledge of universal culture. In his essays does not appear any open explanation of it. Nevertheless, a comparative study between La cantidad hechizada, as representative text of his essaystic works, and his two novels, Paradiso and Oppiano Licario, makes possible to infer a psycagogic and didactic reflection from their contents. This becomes explicit trough concrete aspects in formative process of his narrative characters and trough personal contributions of autobiographical features. Conclusive and evidential of it is the develop of Lezama’s own formative and educational long activity in his ‘Curso Délfico’, which lasted for twelve years as witnessed by one of his disciples
